It is especially designed to be ideal for motor-driven devices. Featuring a universal type design, it offers high performance capable of handling peak currents of approximately twice the rated current for up to 1.5 seconds. The UHDN 12W Series is a desktop-type AC/DC adapter (12W class) for home appliances such as electric cookers, fans, air conditioners, and air purifiers. It complies with the home appliance safety standards 61558-1/60335-1 and PSE Appendix Table 8. The lineup includes seven models ranging from 5.0V to 24.0V, as well as one UHDNI3012 (inline type) model, making it a desktop AC/DC adapter dedicated to home appliances.
Supports DC plug output (integrated cable type) and complies with Energy Efficiency Level VI (ErP/DoE). Models compliant with the European Ecodesign Directive ErP Lot7 are also available, enabling environmentally conscious Product development. Compliant with EU Commission Regulation 2019/1782 and DOE 10 CFR Part 429/430. All models feature an energy-saving design with no-load power consumption of 0.1W. Equipped with short-circuit, overvoltage, and overcurrent protection circuits as standard. LPS compliant.

1) Dedicated home appliance safety standards compliance (61558-1/60335-1), desktop type
Compliant with home appliance safety standards 61558-1 (transformers and general power supplies) and 60335-1 (safety of household electrical appliances), as well as PSE Appendix Table 8. This desktop (inline) type AC/DC adapter is suitable for home appliances requiring compliance with the 60335 standard, such as electric cookers, fans, air conditioners, and air purifiers. 2) ErP Lot7 compliant models available, high energy efficiency
In addition to standard Energy Efficiency Level VI (ErP/DoE), models compliant with the European Ecodesign Directive ErP Lot7 are available. Compliance with Level VII and Lot7, which have stricter energy efficiency requirements than Level VI, enables support for applications requiring higher environmental performance. 3) 5.0V-24.0V, 7 models available (including 18.0V support)
Seven models are available: 5.0V 2.0A (efficiency 78.70%), 5.9V 2.0A (efficiency 80.33%), 9.0V 1.3A (efficiency 82.83%), 12.0V 1.0A (efficiency 82.96%), 15.0V 0.8A (efficiency 82.96%), 18.0V 0.66A (efficiency 82.91%), and 24.0V 0.5A (efficiency 82.96%). A key feature is the wide voltage range, including an 18.0V output model not available in the wall-mount type series of the same class.
4) EMC standards for home appliances (EN55014/BS EN55014)
EMC standards comply with CE CISPR 14 EN55014-1, BS EN55014-1 (emission), EN55014-2, and BS EN55014-2 (immunity) for home appliances. Also compliant with FCC Part15 Class B and VCCI Class B, covering domestic and international EMC standards required for certification of home appliances.
5) Compact desktop design (75.0x50.6x29.8mm)
Adopts a compact inline enclosure with dimensions of 75.0x50.6x29.8mm. Available in one UHDNI3012 type, featuring a slim horizontal design that fits various installation locations. LPS and RoHS 2 compliant.
