BSMI stands for Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection, which is the standards and inspection bureau under the Ministry of Economic Affairs in Taiwan. The BSMI safety certification mark is only permitted to be displayed on products that are deemed to conform to Taiwan's Commodity Inspection Act.
