UNIFIVE provides integrated support from specification information gathering to design, development, mass production, supply, and post-shipment maintenance. Based on this in-house integrated system, we achieve both support for multiple models and individual specifications and stable supply.

Capability to support multiple models and individual specifications

Power supplies are critical safety components, and in many cases, simply applying a standard product is not sufficient for adoption. UNIFIVE provides integrated support from organizing specification information to design, development, mass production, supply, and post-shipment maintenance, based on each customer's requirements and evaluation criteria.

Approximately 1,500 new models developed annually and approximately 15,000 sample units shipped annually. In addition to supporting individual specifications, we flexibly handle everything from small-lot custom and semi-custom production to large-lot mass production. Furthermore, our in-house production system and domestic and overseas network support stable supply and short lead times.

Based on our in-house production system and domestic and overseas network, we have established a structure that covers raw material procurement, logistics, and post-shipment maintenance. We also handle projects requiring short lead-time switching or replacement, ensuring continuous supply.

UNIFIVE manages quality across all processes, from specification information gathering to design, development, mass production, and post-shipment maintenance. Rather than limiting quality to a specific department, it is operated as a company-wide system in which design, manufacturing, quality assurance, and management work together.

During the design phase, the QA department conducts design verification from a third-party perspective, and during manufacturing, a management system based on process FMEA is implemented. From daily quality improvements to handling market complaints, we consistently carry out root cause identification, corrective actions, and recurrence prevention.

At the beginning of each year, quality targets are set across all departments, and progress is reviewed monthly by management. From executives to frontline staff, the entire organization works together to continuously improve quality issues.

UNIFIVE provides custom solutions based on customer requirements, leveraging our extensive development experience. We support miniaturization, heat countermeasures, lightning surge, noise and harmonic countermeasures, original designs, compliance with international safety standards, waterproof and dustproof solutions, and low-noise design according to application and environment. We also support compliance design with international energy efficiency regulations such as DOE Level VII and ErP Lot 7.
