IEC60601-1-2:2014 "4th Edition"
As already announced, the medical EMC standard "IEC60601-1-2:2014 (4th Edition)" will become mandatory from January 1, 2019.
(The current "IEC60601-1-2:2017 (3rd Edition)" will expire on December 31, 2018.)
Therefore, from January 1, 2019, products intended for the European and US markets must be upgraded and comply with this new standard.
For customers who are already shipping to Europe and the United States, or who are considering shipping, we recommend checking whether the currently selected or considered AC/DC Power Adapters — Desktop & Wall-Mount comply with the new standard.
- This standard is based on international standards and differs from the domestic pharmaceutical law "JIS T 0601-1-2:2012".
