Regarding the Mandatory Enforcement of Energy Efficiency Regulations in Belarus

The Government of Belarus will implement a mandatory certification system for energy efficiency regulations starting September 1, 2017. Previously, the Republic of Belarus had already begun requiring compliance with safety standards for wireless/electronic communication equipment from February 1, 2017. The newly introduced mandatory certification system for energy efficiency regulations will be enforced by product category starting September 1, 2017, and is presumed to reflect current global trends.
