Do Not Under Any Circumstances Open AC/DC Power Adapters — Desktop & Wall-Mount

In some cases during investigations of our products, we have found that the customer had already opened the case themselves or modified/repaired it by replacing the DC plug, etc.

In general, electrical products that have been modified by the user are no longer covered under warranty.

The same applies to our products. If the customer opens the case, disassembles the product, or modifies it by replacing components, it is excluded from warranty (investigation), and the main reasons are as follows:

  1. It becomes difficult to determine whether the product itself is faulty after modifications by the customer.
  2. It becomes extremely difficult to identify the cause of the issue, as the condition at the time of the problem becomes unclear.
  3. There is a possibility that the product is in a dangerous condition, both for the customer and for us during investigation.
  4. Modifications or repairs performed by the customer are blatant violations of the PSE (Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Law).

Questions about the Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Law

Products whose cases have been opened or modified are almost impossible to restore to their original proper condition, and using them as-is is extremely dangerous.
For the above reasons, we kindly ask our customers to refrain from opening the case or attempting any modifications. If the customer must urgently open the case of our product due to unavoidable circumstances, please consult us in advance.

“I opened the case, but...”

If you feel "Something's wrong?", please do not open the case yourself. Instead, consult your retailer or distributor first. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation to ensure the safe use of our products.
