Please never open the AC/DC Power Adapters — Desktop & Wall-Mount

In some cases when we are asked to inspect our Products, customers have already opened the case themselves or made modifications or repairs such as replacing the DC plug.

In general, electrical Products that have been tampered with by users are no longer covered by warranty.

The same applies to our Products. If a customer opens the case, disassembles it, or makes modifications such as parts replacement, the product will not be eligible for warranty (inspection), for the following main reasons.

  1. It becomes difficult to determine whether there is a problem with the Products itself due to customer tampering
  2. Since the condition at the time of the problem is unknown, identifying the cause becomes extremely difficult
  3. There is a possibility of danger both for the customer and for our inspection process
  4. Customer-conducted modifications and repairs are clear violations of the PSE (Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Act)

Questions regarding the Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Act

It is nearly impossible for customers to return modified or opened Products to their original normal state. Moreover, using them in such condition is extremely dangerous.
For these reasons, we kindly ask customers not to open or modify the case. If unavoidable due to emergency situations, please consult with us in advance before opening the case of our Products.
