UNIFIVE has been receiving an increasing number of inquiries from customers considering the purchase of AC/DC Power Adapter regarding after-sales service. UNIFIVE strives to respond to a wide range of requests so that customers can continue to use our Products with confidence even after purchase.

Examples of After-Sales Service

Preparation and updates of environmental documentation and investigation of prohibited substances

At UNIFIVE's factory in China, we ensure compliance standards by managing everything from AC/DC Power Adapter component suppliers and material manufacturers to on-site production control, thereby providing customers with safe Products that meet environmental standards.

Issuance of Non-Applicability Certificates

For AC/DC Power Adapter manufactured by UNIFIVE that are included with customers' Products, we issue "Non-Applicability Certificates" regarding "Items 1 through 15 of Appended Table 1 of the Export Trade Control Order" and "Item 16 of Appended Table 1 of the Export Trade Control Order" when exporting the Products.

Market Defects

In the event of defects occurring during market use of AC/DC Power Adapter, we promptly work to analyze the cause and identify the root issue, propose improvements to customers, and continue providing safe and reliable Products.

Specification Changes

When changes are made to components used in AC/DC Power Adapter, UNIFIVE notifies customers in advance through a parts change notice and implements the changes only after obtaining customer approval.

Please review the following items in advance before contacting UNIFIVE.

Some customers making inquiries may not have purchased AC/DC Power Adapter Products directly from UNIFIVE. In such cases, we kindly ask customers to follow their product purchase route and confirm our response through that channel.

Some materials, such as confidential documents related to AC/DC Power Adapter, require the conclusion of a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). Please note that we may be unable to respond regarding AC/DC Power Adapter Products that have already been discontinued beyond the designated production document retention period, or Products with unclear purchase routes such as those procured overseas rather than through domestic channels in Japan.

Please also note that models with no transactions for several years and no requests for safety standard updates may, in rare cases, reach EOL status.
