Alarm latch

An alarm latch is a function that retains the alarm history even after an abnormal condition is resolved, when an alert indicates equipment abnormalities such as an alarm. Some devices retain the alarm even if the power is cut off by a safety device after the alarm occurs, which helps in investigating the cause. This function is often included for critical alarms that require human safety confirmation.
