Emission

This refers to electromagnetic waves emitted from electronic devices that adversely affect other electronics and electronic equipment, and is a type of radiated noise synonymous with EMI. Under the JIS standards, electromagnetic interference caused by emissions is defined as "an electromagnetic phenomenon that may degrade the performance of equipment, devices, or systems, and may adversely affect all things, whether living or non-living." In addition, the impact on electrical and electronic equipment from emissions received externally is referred to as immunity.
