Emission

Electromagnetic waves emitted from electronic devices that adversely affect other electronics and electronic equipment; a type of radiated noise and synonymous with EMI. The JIS standards define electromagnetic interference caused by emissions as "electromagnetic phenomena that may degrade the performance of equipment, devices, or systems and may have adverse effects on all things, whether living or non-living." In addition, the effect on electrical and electronic equipment from external emissions is referred to as immunity.
