Onboard power supply

A power supply mounted on a printed circuit board. Compared to open-frame power supplies, it can be placed closer to the load, which helps prevent malfunction due to voltage drops and also allows for miniaturization. On the other hand, if the power supply part fails, it is often difficult to replace only the faulty component, and the entire board may need to be replaced.
