Open frame power supply

A power supply designed to be built into the casing of a device. It lacks a protective outer frame, and its components are exposed, requiring careful handling and transport. Many are board-type, and there are various types and shapes, such as AC-AC and AC-DC power supplies, depending on their use. Some can output two or more types of voltage to support multiple loads. Compared to those integrated with other equipment, units with separate power supplies offer the advantage of easy recovery by replacing only the power supply in case of failure.
