FG

A terminal for grounding the chassis of electrical and electronic equipment. There are two types of grounding terminals: one for direct current and one for alternating current. FG refers to the grounding terminal for direct current. It serves two purposes: discharging electricity to the ground to prevent electric shock when charged, and removing noise by grounding it. On the other hand, LG, the grounding terminal for alternating current, is primarily intended to prevent electric shock.
