FG

A terminal for grounding the enclosure of electrical and electronic equipment. There are two types of grounding terminals, one for direct current and one for alternating current; FG refers to the grounding terminal for direct current. It has two functions: preventing electric shock by discharging static electricity to the ground, and eliminating noise by releasing it to the ground. On the other hand, LG, which is the grounding terminal for alternating current, is mainly intended to prevent electric shock.
