EIAJ (Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association)
The Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEADA) was established in 2000 through the merger of two industry organizations, one of which was the Japan Electronic Machinery Industry Association. It was founded in 1957 based on the Provisional Measures Law for the Promotion of the Electronics Industry, enacted to promote the electronics industry. Its members were electronics equipment and component manufacturers who defined the EIAJ standards.
