Hiccup mode

Hiccup mode is an operating mode triggered by a short condition during output failure, in which power supply repeatedly turns on and off (hiccup refers to the repetitive on-off motion like a hiccup). The transition from on to off helps maintain internal power loss at a safe level until the fault condition is cleared.
