Storage humidity range
The range of minimum and maximum humidity levels at which electrical and electronic equipment can be stored for a long period without being powered on (not in operation) without causing failure or performance degradation. Because long-term storage is assumed, for equipment intended for use in high-humidity environments, the upper limit of the storage humidity range may be lower than the upper limit of the operating humidity range. If the humidity exceeds the storage humidity range, the risk of corrosion-related deterioration due to high humidity increases. Conversely, if it is lower, the risk of electrical failure or deterioration due to static electricity increases.
