Storage temperature range
The range between the minimum and maximum temperatures at which electrical and electronic equipment can be stored for a long period without being powered on (not in operation) without causing failure or performance degradation. This range is usually wider than the operating temperature range. Temperatures that are included in the storage temperature range but not in the operating temperature range do not pose a risk of failure or degradation as long as the equipment is not powered on; however, when powered on, there is a risk of failure or degradation.
