Storage temperature

The ambient temperature at which electrical and electronic equipment will not fail or experience performance degradation when not powered on (not operating). While the operating temperature, which is the ambient temperature at which the equipment will not fail or experience performance degradation when powered on (operating), is affected by the heat generated by the equipment itself, the storage temperature is not affected by the heat generated by the equipment itself.
