Storage temperature

The ambient temperature at which electrical and electronic devices do not fail or suffer performance degradation when not powered on (not in operation). Unlike the operating temperature—which refers to the ambient temperature at which devices do not fail or degrade in performance while powered on and may be influenced by the devices' own heat generation—the storage temperature is not affected by the devices' heat generation.
