Storage temperature

The ambient temperature that does not cause failures or performance degradation in electrical and electronic devices when they are not powered on (not in operation). While the operating temperature — the ambient temperature that does not cause failures or performance degradation when the device is powered on (in operation) — is affected by the device's self-heating, the storage temperature is not affected by the device's self-heating.
