Surface mounting

One of the methods for mounting electronic components at high density on a printed circuit board. It is a method of mounting leadless components on the surface of a printed circuit board. Compared to through-hole mounting, in which components with leads are fixed into holes on the printed circuit board, it offers advantages such as a simpler process and space savings, but has the disadvantage that components are more likely to detach.
