JEITA

It refers to the Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association. The organization was established in 2000 through the merger of the Electronic Industries Association of Japan (EIAJ) and the Japan Electronic Industry Development Association (JEADA). Furthermore, in 2005, it merged with the Japan Electronic Materials Industry Association (EMAJ). Its purpose is to solve social issues toward Society 5.0. Its business activities include policy proposals and statistical research for the realization of Society 5.0. It operates the JEITA standards, which succeed the EIAJ standards.
