JEITA
Refers to the Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association. It was established in 2000 through the merger of the Electronic Industries Association of Japan (EIAJ) and the Japan Electronic Industry Development Association (JEADA). Furthermore, in 2005, it merged with the Japan Electronic Materials Industry Association (EMAJ). Its purpose is to address social issues toward Society 5.0. Its business activities include policy proposals and statistical research aimed at realizing Society 5.0. It manages the JEITA standards inherited from the EIAJ standards.
