JEITA
Refers to the Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association. The organization was established in 2000 through the merger of the Electronic Industries Association of Japan (EIAJ) and the Japan Electronic Industry Development Association (JEADA), accompanied by a name change. Furthermore, in 2005, it absorbed and merged with the Electronic Materials Manufacturers Association of Japan (EMAJ). Its objective is to address social issues toward the realization of Society 5.0. Its activities include policy proposals and statistical research aimed at achieving Society 5.0. It operates the JEITA standards, which succeeded the EIAJ standards.
