Common mode noise

Noise is broadly classified into normal mode noise and common mode noise. Normal mode noise occurs between wiring lines, while common mode noise is noise that occurs between wiring and ground. Common mode noise includes conducted noise, which propagates through wiring, and radiated noise, which is emitted from wiring as electromagnetic waves into the air.
