High-frequency noise

Harmonics with higher frequencies are called high-frequency components and can adversely affect equipment as noise. High-frequency noise, due to its high frequency, exhibits electromagnetic wave properties. Therefore, it not only travels through power cables but may also propagate as radiated noise through space, potentially affecting nearby devices that are not connected by cables.
