Reinforced insulation

Reinforced insulation is a type of insulation often referred to as double reinforced insulation or secondary insulation. It is a second layer of insulation placed on top of basic insulation to enhance safety and withstand higher voltages. It is commonly required in transport equipment and medical devices.
