Startup time

In power equipment, when the input voltage is turned on, a slight response delay occurs in the output voltage due to the nature of the circuit. The time until the output voltage reaches 10% is called the delay time. The time for the output voltage to rise from 10% to 90% is called the rise time. The sum of the rise time and the delay time—in other words, the time from input voltage on to reaching 90%—is called the startup time, which serves as one indicator of the equipment's performance.
