Overreaction
In a power circuit, this refers to the behavior of fluctuations from the moment the output voltage begins to change until it settles at a certain value or an AC waveform, when the input is turned on or off, or when the input voltage or output current changes suddenly. It is often represented by a graph with voltage on the vertical axis and time on the horizontal axis. The transient response is determined by the RLC components included in the circuit.
