OCP

A safety function designed to prevent failures caused by overheating when overcurrent exceeding specified limits flows due to short circuits in electric or electronic circuits. In many power supply circuits, OCP detects overcurrent and has functions to reduce voltage or stop output. Some OCPs also have the ability to automatically restore voltage when the current returns to normal.
