OCP

A safety function that prevents failures caused by overheating when an overcurrent exceeding the specified level flows due to a short circuit or other issue in an electrical or electronic circuit. In many power supply circuits, OCP detects an overcurrent and reduces the voltage or shuts down the output. Some OCP systems also have a function that automatically restores the voltage once the current returns to normal.
