O'Ring Diode

An O-Ring diode, also called a decoupling diode, is a diode that ensures current flows only in one direction from the power supply. In current-sharing scenarios, it is used as a countermeasure when a faulty power supply unit could cause all power supplies to enter overcurrent protection mode, potentially creating a failure within the power system.
