Noise

The high-frequency components, excluding ripple, that appear between the output terminals of a power circuit. Represented by one cycle of the waveform from peak to peak. While ripple is caused by the input voltage frequency, noise is generated by factors such as surges entering from the power supply side. Noise countermeasures include inserting a noise filter on the output side and implementing surge protections on the power supply side.
