secondary circuit

In a power supply circuit, the secondary circuit refers to the part that is electrically isolated and not directly connected through components such as a transformer. If an uninterruptible power supply or battery is connected, it refers to the circuit powered by the battery during a power outage. The load side may also be referred to as the secondary circuit even if the circuit is not isolated.
