Cooling method
A method of removing heat generated by devices to the outside in order to prevent malfunctions caused by overheating of electrical and electronic equipment. The simplest method is natural cooling through convection. In this method, the surface area of the heat-generating surface is often increased to improve the heat dissipation effect. If natural cooling is not sufficient for heat dissipation, forced cooling using airflow from a fan, etc., is often employed. Other forced cooling methods include circulating a refrigerant gas, using a heat exchanger, or utilizing the heat of vaporization of a liquid.
