Multi-output power supply and similar devices change the output voltage proportionally across all outputs when the output voltage is adjusted via the adjustment terminal within the rated range. This allows simultaneous adjustment of the input voltage for loads on each output. On the other hand, it also has the disadvantage that the input voltage of loads that do not require adjustment will also change.
