Commercial power supply

AC power transmitted from electric power companies to factories, buildings, and general households. There are three types: low voltage (100, 200V), high voltage (6600V), and extra-high voltage (20, 30, 60, 70, 140kV), each with different electricity rates. There are two frequencies: 50Hz and 60Hz. The higher the voltage, the more electric power can be received, so the higher the electricity demand, the higher the receiving voltage. This term is often used to distinguish power supplied by electric companies from sources such as private power generators or solar power systems for self-consumption.
