Commercial power supply
AC power transmitted from electric power companies to factories, buildings, and general households. The types include low voltage (100/200V), high voltage (6600V), and extra-high voltage (20/30/60/70/140kV), each with different electricity rates. There are two frequency types: 50Hz and 60Hz. The higher the voltage, the more power can be received, so the greater the customer's power consumption, the higher the receiving voltage. This term is often used to distinguish power supplied by an electric power company from power generated by private generators or for self-consumption solar power generation.
