Static load variation
In power supply circuits, when the input voltage and other factors are under rated conditions, this refers to the variation in output voltage when the output current is gradually changed within a specified range (usually within the rated range). It is one of the indicators of power supply circuit stability, and the smaller the static load variation, the higher the stability against long-term gradual load fluctuations. It is useful for estimating the stability of the output voltage in applications where the load changes gradually.
