Natural air cooling

A cooling method for discharging the heat generated by electrical and electronic devices to the outside without using external power sources such as a fan. Heat is dissipated through natural air convection, radiation, and thermal conduction. Methods to enhance natural cooling include installing a heat sink for natural cooling in order to increase the cross-sectional area of the cooling surface or to facilitate convection. When natural cooling is insufficient to dissipate heat, forced cooling using a fan, etc., is employed.
