Operating temperature range

The ambient temperature range within which electrical and electronic devices can operate continuously without malfunction. For heat-generating devices, this refers to the temperature at a location unaffected by the heat. Exceeding this range can shorten the device lifespan or lead to failure. While often within normal room temperature, there are devices designed for extreme environments, including those suitable for cold climates or high temperatures.
