Operating temperature range

The ambient temperature range in which electrical and electronic devices can be used continuously without malfunction. For devices that generate heat, this refers to the temperature in a location not affected by that heat. Exceeding this range may shorten the device’s lifespan or cause failures. While the range typically falls within normal room temperature, there are devices designed for use in harsh environments, such as those built for cold regions or high-temperature operation.
