Sequence

In the operation of electrical and electronic devices, controlling them by combining switches and relays to perform prescribed actions is also called sequence control. Sequence control is an open-loop control where the result does not affect the input cause. In contrast to feedback control, which is a closed-loop control that corrects errors in the result by feeding them back to the input, sequence control circuits lack the functionality to correct results.
