Snubber circuit

In a switching power supply circuit, a circuit is used to suppress noise by absorbing ringing and other noise. There are RC snubber circuits consisting of a resistor and a capacitor, as well as RCD snubber circuits that include a diode. While snubber circuits have the advantage of suppressing noise, they also have the disadvantage of increased circuit loss, resulting in reduced efficiency. Therefore, snubber circuits need to be designed to minimize loss while suppressing noise.
