One of the methods for high-density mounting of electronic components on printed circuit boards. It is a method of mounting by fixing components with leads into holes in the printed circuit board. Compared to surface mounting, which mounts components without leads on the printed circuit board, it has the advantage of being less likely for components to peel off, but it also has the disadvantages of a more complex process and larger space requirements.
