Through-hole mounting

One of the methods for mounting electronic components at high density on a printed circuit board. This method involves fixing components with leads into holes on the printed circuit board. Compared to surface mounting, which mounts leadless components onto a printed circuit board, it has the advantage of being less likely for components to detach, but it also has the disadvantages of a more complex process and requiring more space.
