SELV

SELV stands for safety extra low voltage, referring to a voltage level that can be touched by a person even in the event of a single fault condition without causing injury. It is a term used by safety standards organizations such as CENELEC, IEC, and UL. Typically, it is defined as up to a maximum of 60V or 42.4Vpk, and protection measures are required when it exceeds 60V.
