Low voltage protection

In general, when the input voltage value of a load exceeds the specified level, the risk of failure increases due to overheating and other factors. However, if the voltage is too low, there is also a risk of failure or malfunction. Therefore, countermeasures against low voltage are necessary. This refers to a function that stops the operation of the power supply circuit or generates an alarm signal when the output or input voltage of the power supply circuit falls below the specified value. In power supply circuits and similar systems, a function that regards an input voltage lower than the specified value as an off state and prevents it from being input, in order to guarantee the specified output, is also one type of undervoltage protection.
