Rated output

In power circuits and similar applications, this refers to the output value under specified conditions (rated values) such as input voltage and load current. It is usually indicated by power and expressed in active power (W) or apparent power (VA). In many cases, it is used as a value indicating the upper limit of power consumption for the load that can be connected to the power circuit. In such cases, the load must be used within a range that does not exceed the rated output.
