About the VCCI Association, a general incorporated foundation. With the development of the electronics industry, the predecessor organization, the Voluntary Council for Radio Interference of Information Technology Equipment, was established in 1985 by four related industry groups with the aim of setting up and operating voluntary regulatory measures to suppress electromagnetic interference generated by electrical and electronic equipment. It became a general incorporated foundation in 2009 and continues to operate today. Its purpose is to operate voluntary regulatory measures conducted by its members against electromagnetic waves that cause interference to other electrical, electronic, and communication devices.
