VCCI

The VCCI Council, a general incorporated foundation. With the development of the electronics industry, and in order to suppress electromagnetic interference generated by electrical and electronic equipment, the predecessor organization, the Voluntary Control Council for Interference by Information Technology Equipment, was established in 1985 by four related industry groups to create and operate voluntary control measures. It became a general incorporated foundation in 2009 and continues to the present day. Its purpose is to operate voluntary control measures implemented by its members against electromagnetic interference that may cause disruption to other electrical, electronic, and telecommunications equipment.
