About TAITRONICS
TAITRONICS is primarily a B2B trade fair for electronic components. Each year, some of the world's most important companies in the industry exhibit, presenting cutting-edge services, technologies, and various applications, providing visitors with opportunities to experience them firsthand. With the exhibitors' impressive displays and visitors' curiosity toward "products," the venue fosters highly positive communication, serving as a platform to energize the electronics industry of tomorrow.
TAITRONICS is also a long-established exhibition, having been founded 43 years ago in 1974.
Since 1986, when it began being held at the Taiwan International Trade Center, the show has been organized every spring and autumn under different themes. The spring event held before 1994 was known as the Taipei International Electrical Equipment Show. From 2001 to 2005, shows focusing on DVDs and optoelectronics were also held.
Subsequently, due to the rapid advancement and changes in the electronics industry, several exhibitions were scaled down, consolidated, or newly established.
In 2006, TAITRONICS reorganized its structure and evolved to match the times as Taipei Opto, the Spring TAITRONICS Show, Autotronics Taipei (International Auto Electronics Show), and Digitronics Taipei. Around that time, the Taipei Computer Association also brought an end to its 14-year Telecommunications Show.
Over time, the 39th Taipei International Electronics Show (TAITRONICS 2013) returned to the Taiwan International Trade Center in 2013, featuring electronic components, batteries & power supplies, LED components & applications, meters & instruments, manufacturing, wires and cables, commercial electronics, security equipment, and more.
This year, highlights include "smart" fields such as smart living and smart manufacturing, as well as a focus on power efficiency. More than 1,050 booths and 530 companies are expected to exhibit (according to the official TAITRONICS 2017 website).
