About TAITRONICS
TAITRONICS is a B2B-oriented electronics parts trade fair where the world’s most prominent companies in the industry exhibit every year, showcasing cutting-edge services, technologies, and various applications. Visitors have the opportunity to experience these firsthand. With the exhibitors’ fascinating displays and the visitors' curiosity toward "things", the venue fosters dynamic communication and becomes a platform to energize the future of the electronics industry.
TAITRONICS is also a long-established exhibition, founded 43 years ago in 1974.
Since 1986, it has been held at the Taiwan International Trade Center and has been conducted with different themes in spring and autumn. The spring show before 1994 was held under the name "Taipei International Electrical Equipment Show", and from 2001 to 2005, additional shows focusing on themes like DVDs and optoelectronics were also held.
Afterwards, due to the rapid advancement and changes in the electronics industry, several exhibitions were downsized, merged, or newly launched.
TAITRONICS 2006 also restructured its components to include Taipei Opto, the Spring TAITRONICS Show, AutoTronics Taipei (International Automotive Show), and DigiTronics Taipei to reflect changing trends. Around that time, the Taipei Computer Association brought an end to the 14-year-long telecommunications show.
Moving forward, the 39th Taipei International Electronics Show (TAITRONICS 2013) returned to the Taiwan International Trade Center. It featured themes such as electronic components, batteries & power supplies, LED components & applications, meters & instruments, manufacturing, wires and cables, commercial electronics, and security equipment.
This year focuses on "smart" fields such as smart living and smart manufacturing, along with an emphasis on power efficiency. According to the official TAITRONICS 2017 website, over 1,050 booths and 530 companies will participate.
