About TAITRONICS
TAITRONICS is a B2B electronics components trade fair where leading global companies in the industry exhibit cutting-edge services, technologies, and various applications each year, giving visitors the opportunity to directly interact with them. The fascinating exhibits by the exhibitors and the visitors’ curiosity about “things” create a highly positive atmosphere, making it a place where dynamic communication occurs and a source of momentum for the electronics industry of tomorrow.
TAITRONICS is also a long-standing exhibition, having started 43 years ago in 1974.
Since 1986, it has been held at the Taiwan International Trade Center, with different themes in spring and autumn. Until 1994, the spring edition was held under the name Taipei International Electrical Equipment Show, and between 2001 and 2005, shows focused on DVDs and optoelectronics were also held.
Due to the rapid development and changes in the electronics industry, some exhibitions were later downsized, merged, or newly established.
In 2006, TAITRONICS restructured its components to align with the times, resulting in Taipei Opto, Spring TAITRONICS Show, Autotronics Taipei (International Auto Show), and Digitronics Taipei. Around this time, the Taipei Computer Association ended the Telecommunications Show, which had run for 14 years.
Time passed, and the 39th Taipei International Electronics Show (TAITRONICS 2013) returned to the Taiwan International Trade Center, featuring areas such as electronic components, batteries & power supplies, LED components & applications, meters & instruments, manufacturing, wires & cables, commercial electronics, and security equipment.
This year, the focus includes “smart” sectors like smart living and smart manufacturing, as well as power efficiency. More than 1,050 booths and 530 companies are expected to exhibit. (According to the official TAITRONICS 2017 website)
