What is IoMT?

IoMT stands for "Internet of Medical Things" and refers to the concept of connecting medical device equipment and healthcare applications to the internet, enabling real-time data collection and analysis.

In the future, IoMT is expected to further evolve and transform the medical model from its core. With compatibility between devices and the ability to handle information in real time, more accurate and efficient medical care will be established.

Treatments using IoMT are based on personalized data and figures gathered through post-operative monitoring using devices or follow-ups for chronic illnesses. Additionally, smart room support tools and emergency alert systems that enable urgent calls will become possible,

making it achievable to provide a higher standard of care.

What Are IoMT Devices?

IoMT devices generally refer to various types of home-use medical devices, smart wearable devices, point-of-care testing equipment, and mobile healthcare devices. These devices enable remote connection between healthcare professionals and patients, allowing not only health management but also disease prevention and remote intervention in emergencies.
