This model complies with harmonic current regulations of the Japan Lighting Manufacturers Association, which apply to all lighting equipment of 5W or more, including LED devices. The ULVU 5W Series is a compact, high-efficiency constant voltage (CV) output 5W LED driver designed for LED lighting applications, in a wall-mount type configuration. It complies with the LED lighting safety standard 61347-1, as well as 62368-1, 60065-1, and 60950-1 for ICT equipment, and PSE. Two models are available: 12V and 24V. The lineup includes five types: ULVUU3005 (U plug), ULVUE3005 (E plug), ULVUK3005 (K plug), ULVUA3005 (A plug), and ULVUZ3005 (Z plug).
With a power factor correction (PFC) design compliant with IEC 61000-3-2 harmonic regulations, it meets the power quality requirements specific to LED lighting equipment. In addition to the standard CV mode, customization is available for CC/CV mode, CC-only mode, LED stands, and LED fluorescent lamps. It features an energy-saving design with up to 80% efficiency and 0.3W no-load power consumption.

1) Dedicated design for LED lighting and compliant with 61347-1
This wall-mount power supply for LED lighting complies with the dedicated LED driver safety standard IEC 61347-1. It also supports 62368-1, 60065-1, and 60950-1 for ICT equipment, enabling adoption in a wide range of lighting equipment such as LED luminaires, LED stands, and LED fluorescent lamps. 2) Compliant with IEC 61000-3-2 harmonic regulations and equipped with PFC
Compliant with IEC 61000-3-2 harmonic regulations applicable to all LED lighting equipment over 5W and up to 25W. It also supports the harmonic current regulations established by the Japan Lighting Manufacturers Association (applicable to all lighting equipment of 5W or more, including LED devices). Equipped with a PFC circuit, it ensures a power factor of 0.72 or higher at both AC100V and AC230V input. It achieves stable power quality meeting harmonic current requirements (THD <= 70%, with 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, and 11th harmonics controlled within specified limits).
3) Standard CV mode support and customization for CC/CV and others
Supports CV (constant voltage) mode as standard to ensure stable LED operation. In addition, semi-custom options are available for CC/CV mode, CC-only mode, LED stands, and LED fluorescent lamps, allowing flexible response to various LED lighting design requirements. 4) Compliant with EMC standards for LED lighting (CISPR 15, EN61547, BS EN55015, BS EN61547)
Compliant with emission standards CISPR 15 and BS EN55015, as well as immunity standards EN61547 and BS EN61547 for LED lighting equipment. Also supports FCC-B and VCCI-B. Comprehensive EMC compliance including EN55032, EN61000-3-2/3-3, and the EN61000-4 series ensures electromagnetic compatibility required for lighting equipment.
5) Compact, lightweight, universal input, available in 5 plug types
Supports universal input of AC90~264V for use in power environments worldwide. Compact size and lightweight design. Available in five types: ULVUU3005 (U plug), ULVUE3005 (E plug), ULVUK3005 (K plug), ULVUA3005 (A plug), and ULVUZ3005 (Z plug), supporting global market deployment. Maximum efficiency 80% and no-load power consumption 0.3W.
