UMOAT3120
|
UMOAT3120 is a 120W open-frame switching power supply for medical equipment. It complies with IEC60601-1, features a dielectric strength of 4000Vac, and supports 2xMOPP (Means of Patient Protection) and 2xMOOP (Means of Operator Protection). With a double-fuse design that includes fuses on both the L line and N line, it eliminates the need for additional components such as upstream fuses or isolation transformers, making it an ideal embedded power supply model for medical equipment. UxOAT 120W Series (UxOAT3120) is an open-frame power supply (board-mounted power supply) for medical devices designed for medical, home appliance, and I.C.T. applications. The series adopts a configuration in which the applicable safety standards differ depending on the model classification (M/H/N), making it easier to select a built-in power supply according to application requirements.
Energy Efficiency Level VI (ErP/DoE) compliant, and can be used to verify requirements based on emissions (FCC/EN(CISPR)/BS EN) and immunity (EN55035, EN60601-1-2, EN61000-4-x, etc.).
| UNIFIVE is chosen because: As a power supply manufacturer with over 35 years of development experience, we provide comprehensive support from specification review assuming mass production adoption, certification acquisition, production launch, to post-mass production follow-up. Based on standard products, we offer flexible supply from small-lot prototyping and evaluation to small- and medium-scale production, and up to large-volume production according to quantity needs. We also support semi-custom solutions and assist with power supply selection from the specification review stage for mass production adoption. |
Key Features
1) Open-frame power supply (board-mounted power supply) for medical devices
An open-frame power supply intended for integration as a built-in medical power supply. The PCB size is 3.4"x6.8", suitable for power selection considering installation conditions inside the enclosure.
2) Technical standards and protection circuits
The series configuration differs in applicable safety standards depending on the model classification (M/H/N) (please contact us for details of each model). Equipped with short-circuit protection/overvoltage protection/overcurrent protection/overtemperature protection, with overtemperature protection available as an option.
3) Efficiency
Energy Efficiency Level VI (ErP/DoE) compliant, enabling selection in consideration of Commission Regulation (EU) 2019/1782 and DOE 10 CFR part 429 and 430 requirements.
4) EMC (Emissions)
Compliant with FCC Part15-B/Part18-B, EN(CISPR)55032-B/55011-B/55014-B, and BS EN 55032/55011/55014-1.
5) Immunity
In addition to EN55035/BS EN 55035, EN60601-1-2/BS EN60601-1-2, EN55014-2/BS EN55014-2, includes immunity items of EN61000-4-2/-3/-4/-5/-6/-8/-11.
6) 2xMOPP, PFC, dust environment requirements, lifespan (optional)
Supports 2xMOPP and PFC (power factor), considerations for requirements assuming dusty environments, and a 5-year lifespan (optional).
Effective Use Cases
- For medical/home appliance/I.C.T. applications, when organizing requirements for built-in power supplies based on safety standard classifications (M/H/N)
- When selecting a built-in power supply considering insulation requirements such as 2xMOPP
- PFC (power factor) included, and proceeding with design while organizing input-side conditions
- Organizing protection requirements such as short-circuit/overvoltage/overcurrent/overtemperature to reduce operational risk
- Selecting a power supply in EMC design in accordance with emission requirements (FCC/EN(CISPR)/BS EN)
- Selecting based on immunity requirements (EN61000-4-x) considering disturbances such as ESD, EFT, and surge
Applications
Widely applicable as a built-in power supply for equipment such as medical devices, home appliances, I.C.T., and AV equipment.
- Medical devices
- Home appliances and consumer equipment
- Information and communication equipment/peripherals
- Various equipment requiring built-in power supplies, etc.
