The UMOATN 24W Series is a 24W-class embedded open-frame power supply designed primarily for medical equipment applications compliant with IEC 60601-1. With a 2 x MOPP isolation design, it ensures high safety levels for medical devices with patient contact and enables power supply designs that meet stringent medical safety requirements. In addition, its high-efficiency design compliant with Energy Efficiency Level VI (ErP/DoE) achieves both energy savings and stable power delivery. It features protection against short circuit, overvoltage, overcurrent, and overtemperature, and complies with various EMC/immunity standards including IEC 60601-1-2. The compact 2 x 3 inch board size is ideal for integration into space-constrained enclosures, making it a power solution that supports the design of medical equipment where reliability and safety are top priorities, such as diagnostic devices, therapeutic equipment, and other medical support systems. The UxOATN 24W Series is an open-frame AC/DC power supply (24W) compatible with medical, home appliance, and ICT equipment. Depending on the safety standard classification, three types are available: M (60601-1) for medical equipment, H (61558-1/60335-1) for home appliances, and N (62368-1/60065-1/60950-1) for ICT equipment. For medical applications, it supports 2xMOPP (Means of Patient Protection), and CB and UL certifications are available.
With a board size of 2"×3" (approx. 50.8×76.2mm), this open-frame design offers four models: 5V, 12V, 15V, and 24V. In addition to compliance with PSE Appendix Table 8 (100V standard) and dust-proof requirements, it also features over-temperature protection (optional) and inrush current control, supporting long-term stable operation in a wide range of installation environments such as medical facilities, factories, and homes.

1) Supports 3 applications: medical, home appliance, and ICT; 2xMOPP medical-grade insulation
By specifying the safety standard classification in the model number (x), you can select from three types: M (60601-1) for medical equipment, H (61558-1/60335-1) for home appliances, and N (62368-1/60065-1/60950-1) for ICT equipment. The medical-grade M series supports 2xMOPP (Means of Patient Protection) and is eligible for CB and UL certification. Select the H series for IEC 60335-compliant equipment and home appliance Products, and the N series for ICT and AV equipment. 2) 2"×3" board size (approx. 50.8×76.2mm); available in 4 models from 5V to 24V
Designed with a 2"×3" (approx. 50.8×76.2mm) open-frame board, it is suitable for internal integration into equipment. Output voltages are available in four models: 5.0V/12.0V/15.0V/24.0V, supporting a wide range of applications from low-voltage logic systems to 15V analog systems and 24V actuators and sensors. Equipped with input connector CN1 (equivalent to JST B3P-VH) and output connector CN2 (equivalent to JST B4B-XH, 4-pin).
3) Over-temperature protection (optional) and inrush current control
In addition to three types of protection - short circuit, overvoltage, and overcurrent - over-temperature protection (OTP) is available as an option. By detecting abnormal temperature rises and automatically protecting the unit, safety is enhanced for medical devices and equipment operating continuously for long periods. It also supports inrush current control, reducing the impact of transient currents on peripheral circuits at power-on.
4) Comprehensive EMC compliance covering all medical, home appliance, and ICT standards
For emission standards, it complies with FCC Part15-B, FCC Part18-B, CE (EN/CISPR55032-B, EN/CISPR55011-B, EN/CISPR55014-B), BS EN 55032, BS EN55011, BS EN55014-1, and VCCI-B. For immunity standards, it covers all three application categories with EN55035, BS EN 55035 (ICT), EN60601-1-2, BS EN60601-1-2 (medical), EN55014-2, and BS EN55014-2 (home appliances), including comprehensive compliance with EN61000-4-2 to 4-6, 4-8, and 4-11.
5) Compliant with PSE Appendix Table 8, 100V standard, dust-proof requirements, and 5-year power supply lifespan option
Compliant with PSE Appendix Table 8 (100V standard), this embedded power supply meets Japan's Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Act requirements. Compliance with dust-proof requirements enables installation in dusty environments. Designed to meet Energy Efficiency Level VI (ErP/DoE), it supports an operating temperature range of 0-50°C. A 5-year power supply lifespan warranty option is also available, supporting adoption in medical and industrial equipment requiring long-term operation.
