The UY 5W Series is a wall-mount AC/DC adapter (5W class) with USB-A output. In addition to complying with I.C.T./AV equipment safety standards 60950-1/62368-1, it also meets Taiwan standard CNS14336 and supports PSE Appendix 8 (100V standard). This compact and lightweight wall-mount charging adapter is ideal for USB charging applications such as smartphones and portable devices.

Available in three 5.0V output models (0.5A/1.0A/1.2A), with five plug variations: US (UY305), EU (UYE305), UK (UYK305), AU (UYA305), and CHE (UYZ305). Complies with Energy Efficiency Level VI (ErP/DoE), EU Commission Regulation (EU) 2019/1782, and DOE 10 CFR Part 429/430. Designed for energy savings with no-load power consumption of 0.1W. Equipped as standard with short-circuit, overvoltage, and overcurrent protection circuits. Supports LPS (Limited Power Source).

1) USB-A output, compact and lightweight design

This is a wall-mount adapter with USB-A output. It is suitable for powering devices that require USB charging, such as smartphones, tablets, and portable devices. Its compact and lightweight enclosure design supports mobility-focused applications and space-saving installations.

2) Global safety standard compliance (including CNS14336) and five plug types

Complies with I.C.T./AV equipment safety standards 60950-1 and 62368-1, as well as Taiwan standard CNS14336. Also compliant with PSE Appendix 8 (100V standard). Available in five wall-mount fixed plug types: US (UY305), EU (UYE305), UK (UYK305), AU (UYA305), and CHE (UYZ305), supporting deployment in major markets.

3) Three models available (0.5A/1.0A/1.2A)

Three models are available with 5.0V output: 0.5A (2.5W)/1.0A (5W)/1.2A (6W). You can select the appropriate model according to the application and the current consumption of the connected device. Output accuracy is ±5%, providing stable charging power from the USB-A terminal.

4) Energy efficiency (ErP/DoE Level VI)

Energy Efficiency Level VI (ErP/DoE) compliant, meeting EU Commission Regulation (EU) 2019/1782 and DOE 10 CFR Part 429/430. Energy-saving design with no-load power consumption of 0.1W. Also supports LPS (Limited Power Source).

5) Protection circuits and EMC compliance (EN61000-4 series compliant)

Equipped as standard with short-circuit protection/overvoltage protection/overcurrent protection. For EMC standards, emissions comply with FCC Part15 Class B/CE EN(CISPR)55032 Class B/VCCI Class B/CNS13438/BS EN 55032, and immunity complies with EN55035/BS EN 55035. Also conforms to EN61000-4-2/-4-3/-4-4/-4-5/-4-6/-4-8/-4-11 test standards.
