[Update on DOE VI registration information on the U.S. Department of Energy website].

◆ Recent Inquiries
Since around March of this year, we have received many inquiries stating, "The information that should have been registered as DOE VI cannot be found on the U.S. Department of Energy website."

◆ Registration Information Must Be Updated Annually
Since the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) issued the revised external power supply (EPS) energy efficiency standards under EISA 2007 on February 10, 2014 (enforced and implemented on February 10, 2016), many power supply manufacturers have applied for initial registration and related applications on behalf of customers via the DOE website after completing their application data reports.

When the DOE conducts its annual cleanup of registration information around September 30, registration data older than one year appears to be automatically deleted from the website. Furthermore, according to U.S. federal safety regulations (10 CFR 430), if a product is selected for spot-checking by U.S. customs or the DOE when imported into the United States, it is also examined to determine whether its registration information is current on the website.
Therefore, we recommend ensuring that your registration does not exceed one year and that it is renewed within the designated update period on the DOE website.

However, if a customer is subject to DOE VI during registration or does not possess the acquired data report, we can provide the necessary documents from our company.
