is about [Updates to DOE VI registration information on the U.S. Department of Energy website].

- From Recent Inquiries
Since around March this year, we have received many inquiries stating, "The information that was previously registered under DOE VI cannot be found on the U.S. Department of Energy website."

- Registration information must be updated annually
Since the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) issued the revised version of the EISA 2007 External Power Supply (EPS) Energy Efficiency Standards on February 10, 2014 (effective and enforced on February 10, 2016), many power supply manufacturers have been submitting initial registration applications and related procedures via the DOE website on behalf of their customers after completing the power supply application data report.

Additionally, when the DOE conducts its annual registration information review around September 30 each year, any registrations that have exceeded one year appear to be automatically removed from the website. Furthermore, according to U.S. federal safety regulations (10 CFR 430), when products are imported into the United States and become subject to random inspections by U.S. Customs or the Department of Energy (DOE), the registration information on the website is also checked to confirm whether it has been properly updated.
Therefore, we recommend ensuring that the registration period does not exceed one year and that updates are completed within the designated renewal period on the website.
