About our traceability

As a manufacturer of AC/DC Power Adapter and switching power supplies, we implement strict quality control and a traceability system. Through this system, we further enhance the safety and quality of our Products, delivering trust and reliability to our customers. In the unlikely event that an issue arises with a Products, we immediately trace the cause and respond promptly. We remain committed to achieving customer satisfaction and earning your trust.

What Is Traceability?

Traceability is a system that enables tracking and verification of the entire process of a Products, from raw materials to manufacturing, distribution, and final sale to the end consumer. This ensures product safety and quality, as well as a rapid response in the event of any issues.

As a manufacturer of AC/DC Power Adapter and switching power supplies, we have established a thorough traceability system centered on individual unit management through serial numbers. We maintain a system that retains historical data for all Products for 20 years.

Individual Unit Management by Serial Number

All of our Products are assigned a unique serial number to each unit. We manage each Products by its own unique number, not by weekly or monthly codes.

Using this serial number, it is possible to trace back the historical data of each production lot. You can verify the production history on the manufacturing line for that Products, as well as the production codes of components supplied by each supplier allocated to the production lot.

Key Point: We adopt a unique serial number management system for each individual unit rather than lot management based on weekly or monthly codes. This significantly improves traceability accuracy in the event of an issue.

Contents of Historical Data and 20-Year Retention System

Historical data linked to serial numbers for each production lot is stored for 20 years for all Products. We maintain a 20-year data retention system in anticipation of the long-term use of our Products. The following are the main contents of the stored historical data.

Data ItemDetails
Production LineWhich production line the product was manufactured on
Production Date and QuantityManufacturing date and production quantity of the relevant lot
S/N RangeSerial number range of the relevant lot (including missing numbers)
Operator Names for Each ProcessPersonnel in charge of each manufacturing process
Solder Bath ParametersSetting conditions for the soldering process
Mounted Component Manufacturer and D/CSupplier and date code of the components used
Defect Items in Each Inspection ProcessFor electrical characteristic defects, the defective component and S/N are also specified
IPQC Patrol Inspection RecordsIn-process quality control patrol inspection results
OQC Inspection RecordsOutgoing quality control inspection results

These data are mutually linked, enabling simultaneous searches across multiple production lots and multiple models.

Prompt Response in the Event of an Issue

If a trend of failures is identified in a specific component in the market, we follow the process below to determine the root cause and assess the scope of impact.

StepAction Details
1Identify the production lot from the serial number of the failed Products
2Confirm the supplier and production code of the components issued to the relevant lot
3Cross-search other Products lots that used the same component lot
4Promptly inform the customer of the scope of impact (affected serial number range)

20-year record retention system: Even for Productss that have been shipped more than 10 years ago, we can trace back from the serial number to confirm the component configuration, process conditions, and inspection records at the time of manufacturing. This system provides peace of mind to customers in fields with long product life cycles, such as industrial equipment and medical devices.
