About reliability testing

This page provides an overview of some of the reliability tests related to AC/DC Power Adapters — Desktop & Wall-Mount and switching power supplies. At UNIFIVE, we utilize our extensive experience as a switching power supply manufacturer to conduct a variety of reliability tests. We also accommodate test conditions provided by customers and support the addition of a wide range of test items.

Reliability Testing

The reliability testing items for electrical products are broadly divided into two categories: "Electrical Reliability Testing" and "Mechanical Reliability Testing".

Electrical Reliability Testing

Mechanical Reliability Testing

DC Cable Section

Flexural strength, low temperature bending, tensile strength, twisting test, migration test, internal plug treatment, and others

Plug Section

Insertion/removal endurance, locking strength, twisting test, strength during incorrect insertion, and others

In our laboratory, verification of conduction, ESD, EFT, surge & EMI is also available. In addition, we conduct tests according to customer-specified conditions and items.
